proposal Meme Template
A woman in the foreground covers her face with her hands, crying, while three people at a nearby table look on with expressions ranging from concern to amusement. The top box holds the proposal or situation being reacted to, and the bottom box the emotional response or consequence, so the joke is the mismatch between the event and the reaction. People use this template when the outcome of a supposedly happy moment is unexpectedly sad or absurd.
