Terms of Service
The rules for using FreeMock, how the weekly competition works, and what happens to the money you win.
In short
Make memes, compete each week, and get paid real money when you win. Do not post things you have no right to post, do not cheat the ranking, and remember that a payment sent to your wallet cannot be taken back by anyone.
Who can use FreeMock
You must be 18 or over. The platform pays real money, and we do not allow accounts for anyone younger.
One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your email and wallet secure.
What you post
You keep ownership of everything you create. By posting, you give us permission to store, display and distribute it on the platform so it can be shown to other people. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already saved or shared.
Do not post content that:
- infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
- harasses, threatens, bullies or targets a person
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises a minor in any way
- promotes violence, hatred, or illegal activity
- impersonates another person or organisation
- is spam, or exists only to farm points
Memes are built from existing images, and that does not make every use lawful. A copyright holder can demand removal of a meme however transformative it feels. If you do not have the right to use an image, do not post it — the account that posted it is the one that answers for it.
Moderation
We remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or close the accounts responsible. You can report a post using the report button on the post itself, which reaches our moderation queue directly.
We do not review everything before it appears. Something being visible on FreeMock does not mean we have approved it.
The prize
Placing in the weekly competition wins a USDC prize. That prize is not a currency we issue, an investment, or a security — it is a discretionary reward tied to where you placed that week, not something you buy, hold a stake in, or are owed again just because you won it once.
USDC itself is an existing, third-party stablecoin — we do not create, back, or control it. We may change how the prize is earned, how it is calculated, and how it is paid — with notice, where we reasonably can give it.
The weekly competition
Activity on the platform earns points. Every week the ranking resets and the highest-placed accounts win a share of the prize pool.
The size of the prize pool depends on what the platform earned that period, so it varies. A guaranteed minimum pool is funded regardless, so there is always a prize. You can see what the current pool would pay before the week closes.
Manipulating the ranking — fake accounts, automated activity, coordinated voting rings, or anything else artificial — forfeits any prize and may end your account. Where results are disputed, our determination is final.
Getting paid
Winning pays out in USDC, a dollar-backed stablecoin, sent on the Base network straight to the wallet you have verified. Each week's prize is a one-time amount tied to that week alone — there is no conversion step, and no minimum to reach first.
A sent payout cannot be reversed. Not by us, not by anyone — that is how blockchains work. We pay only to an address you have proven you control by signing a message, which is what stops someone who gains access to your account from redirecting your earnings.
You are responsible for your own taxes on anything you receive. We do not give tax advice and we do not withhold anything.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we do so for fraud or ranking manipulation, any prize you've won that hasn't yet been paid may be forfeited.
You can close your account whenever you like. Closing it forfeits any prize you've won that hasn't yet been paid, so if one is on its way, wait for it first.
Availability
We provide FreeMock as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, and we may add, change or remove features. Where a change would affect a prize you've won that hasn't yet been paid, we will give notice if we reasonably can.
Limits of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses arising from a blockchain transaction once it is sent, for content posted by other users, or for a wallet you lose access to.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the terms change, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use FreeMock after a change means you accept it. If you do not, close your account.
